We landed at JFK, and I had no problem getting in my pre-arranged car awaiting us. Marty just looked at me and shook his head. We checked into Bobby De Niro’s hotel (The Greenwich) and immediately got an upgrade, probably because I looked so pretty. In actuality it was just because I’ve been here before.
We were off to the Greenwich’s courtyard within 15 minutes for a little piece of Italy and a glass of wine. Then we walked to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge; Marty wanted a walking tour – the same that Libbylicious and I had done about a year ago. RentANewYorker, Linda, was our guide, and we love her. We asked her to stay for lunch (River Cafe - I’m a star stalker, lots go there) with us just cuz she’s fun and is so full of historical facts. I had an octopus leg for lunch. Not.kidding. It was delicious. I had the same thing when I was there last time, it’s THAT good.

Under the Brooklyn Bridge - Fatty Arbuckle

In the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge!
Then we came back to Bobby’s hotel, had dinner right next to Tom Brokow, again in the courtyard of the hotel since the restaurant, and ohsoperfectSarah made no reservations at Bobby’s restaurant. Doesn’t matter, everyone was too loud in there (on a Monday night in NYC! and the courtyard was for hotel guests only). Tommy asked me for my autograph. Blogger and all, ya know.
Nite.
Oh, and Tom Waits was on Letterman tonight – he checked into our hotel with us.
