Check out this link, I gained 20 lbs, I believe every word of this article (scroll down to the pertinent article, but read them all).
After over three years on various different preventative drugs, I realized I wasn’t any further ahead in my migraine diaries, more than 15 days a month were, indeed, marked with a big red X indicating a migraine day. The preventative drugs weren’t working. (I think I was staying on them due to a fear of the migraines getting worse.) I went off two of my prevention drugs, slowly, one drug at a time, and dropped 20 lbs slowly. I stayed on my anti-seizure preventative as when I tried to wean off that one, my migraines got worse.
So to all of my migraine followers, I know how having a migraine and extra weight makes you feel. So does this article writer in my link. You already feel like shit, so pile on an extra weight gain, and it only feel worse. You have chronic pain and chronic tight pants = cranky pants.
At least we can feel better in our groups. Misery loves company.
