ON TOP: the new ON BOTTOM: the vacuumed BAZINGA
Love,
Little Miss Sunshine
Dare I dream, after 3 1/2 years of hell? And I love you, Bonnie, for having your first bout of migraines and “getting it”. Thank you with all my heart. I actually have come to dislike people who don’t have migraines. Cuz they don’t get it. (Geez, sorry, though, that you had the migraines to begin with.)
Today I went to the Brain and Spine Institute locally here. These guys actually do what I read about in all my “Google Alerts” and medical journals online. We’ll see. Sounds promising. ”I shall survive”, whether some of you want me to or not. Hmpf.
Which leads me to: When should one give up? Whether you’re talking about my migraines or my new “plug and play” printer that is STILL not “plugging or playing”. Yesterday I finally caved and called Geek Squad. Tics me off. I am so….obsessive, determined, formidable, stubborn…, that I refused to give up on not being able to install that damn printer MYSELF. If there’s an instruction book (which I had to download and print cuz I need the print in front of me – 507 pages – English only – how ridiculous is that?), I should be able to figure it out.
While I was on hold with Geek Squad, the spooling recording thing kept saying (please say with a lilt in your voice), “did you know that many problems with your computer can be fixed by simply unplugging your device and replugging after 15 seconds?”
“Blah Blah Blah” I thought to myself. ”Don’t talk down to me.” I scheduled up my Geek to come visit me next week to get the scan function of my printer working. I got the other three functions working, printing, copying, faxing.. But that damn scan…. So I woke up the next morning and decided while I was awaiting a power up on my re-boot, sipping my coffee, I would unplug and replug. Son of a B, didn’t that damn thing scan.
Cheers, Little Miss Sunshine
Never Give the Hell Up, Obsessive is a good thing
